QoL for post and reviews#46

As someone who loves to decorate post, focusing either in the content and how it looks, it’s make me a little sad it doesn’t have all the features possible, or some that could improve heavily how to post.

First of all, regular post should have the same features as reviews, such make headlines bigger, post images and videos between paragraphs, etc. I personally don’t like when I make a post with screenshots, a link (that will create an embed), etc, all of them in the upper part all together, I think it makes read the post messier.

Furthermore, a bunch of additions that I think it will improve posting:

  • An horizontal rule that adjust the start and end of the line either with the website that with the APP, I love this feature on the Steam reviews, allowing you to separate sections if you want. I think it could be interesting

  • Hyperlink. I’m surprised this is not implemented at all, heavily useful to post some URLs on a more hidden way.

  • Tables. The ones you can make in Word, or similar, doesn’t need to be extremely complex, but at least a basic ones.

  • Symbols. I usually use a website that has line a thousand of them, but have a small repertory here would be cool, like ▼, ➙, ✷, etc. Seems stupid but could make some post look a little pretier.

  • Emojis. The typical emojis you could find on any social media or text message app, like 😊😩🔥, and even custom Fuze emojis, gaming related ones…

  • Better embeds. Most of the time the embes are too big or too wide, we need them smoller and adjusted to the page, and some URLs doesn’t make an embed at all.

And that’s all, at last for what I remember now. I think all of them would make posting and reviewing better, more comfortable and aesthetic. Thanks for reading!
